Smart Solutions was founded in 1994 as an LLC in Wallisellen/Zurich. 1998 it was incorporated, and 1999 it relocated to the city of Zug.

Since our establishment we develop and sell our own software products and software solutions, mainly in the areas of system software, systems management and databases. We also support and advise our customers in the design, implementation, and roll-out of software projects of high complexity and varying size. Technology is thereby always a means to an end - clients' and users' benefit is always our first concern.

Since a few years we've been working on mobile computing, especially the development of software for hand-held devices such as smart phones and PDAs such as Microsoft's Pocket PC. 

Since 2009, we're expanding into the area of information systems for insurance companies and pension funds and our offer now also includes actuarial services, notably when combined with software development and data needs.

Our independence from vendors and suppliers guarantees that our solutions and technologies applied are always geared towards the problems and requirements of our clients.
